elvish mysticism that pisses off orc-cels
i picked up a cute tarot deck yesterday, and i decided to maybe make it a thing to do a daily reading. i think everyone needs a healthy dose of mysticism in their life, although i feel like people who take it too seriously are perhaps putting too much faith in something that isnt based in fact. who knows! it has cute kitties tho. i interpret this as "you need to lead more often and think carefully about when to be independent vs asking for help, you take on other people's conflict as your own just as much as it finds you, and need to be more careful of that"

yesterday was really fun, i went out downtown with some friends, here, the downtown area gets turned into a pedestrian mall during the summer, so cars are blocked off. i found some fun stuff.
six seven tastes like a really bland ginger ale, btw. i dont know why. i thought it might be more interesting. the can doesnt detail its flavour, because its all in swedish or something. theres no english instructions or ingredients list. thanks brainrot soda.
i had this bomb ass jambalaya fettuchini baked with cheese. i stopped 3/4ths of the way in to bring the rest home and by the time we got the bills i had finished it. lol

i wanted to die so bad that i had to go home and sleep for a few hours. my ttrpg plans fell through which didnt really surprise me but i watched Cradle 2 The Grave starring Jet Li and DMX. surprisingly funny movie. jet li is a great actor and ive enjoyed a good few of the things ive seen him in. i also finished haibane renmei. ive been watching it as ive been using reki for the theming of this blog, but that final episode cemented her as one of my favourite characters of all time. she's me. i think i could go on talking about haibane renmei for a long time, and maybe i will in a later blog entry.
i plan to watch more yoshitoshi abe works after this, i think niea_7 is next, and then eventually ill get back to lain, but i might read despera first. i am like the anti lain poser. ive never seen it! i dont pretend to have. ive seen a lot of his other works and love him, but lain? nope. dont know. very funny, huh?
